Jon Cohen
Born in Australia, and a survivor of an English boarding school, Jon studied psychology at university, surely this explains the darker edge to his work. He moved back to Australia in 2001, mostly because he preferred the weather and embarked on a career in film. Starting as a writer, and moving into directing and producing, Jon has created sellable, award-winning content. His features include Sum of Existence (2006), The 7th Hunt (2009), Final Move (2012), Ravenswood (2017), The Hanged Girl (2022), and Backlash (2025), all of which have been distributed worldwide. He has half a dozen features in development, from a Rom Com to a Sci Fi Time Travel series to a big Action Thriller.

Although she doesn't really understand what the study is about, all psychobabble really, she is comfortable with doing it. Professor Jakob Farley is running the experiment, and is the model of the authority figure. He explains to Clare that every time the subject of the study, Holly Monroe, gets a question wrong, Clare must give her an electric shock, and keep going til Holly gets the right answer.
